[MUSIC PLAYING] In your first two years of your undergraduate experience, we help you identify your major, identify your career goals, and help you lay out that path, so that when you transfer to your four-year institution, there's less wandering around trying to figure out your plan. And then you really know where you're going, to add in those internships and professional experiences to complement that degree when you get there.
We have six associate degrees that we offer here at SMC meant to help students get their associate's degree in whatever will transfer the best for them for their bachelor's degree. Having that associate's degree two years in allows you to make more money while you're finishing your degree.
How students are completing their degrees is evolving, and students have more options now. Online degrees are growing, are reputable, and so SMC offers, as part of that, ways that we can partner with you to complete your bachelor's degree, where you could stay living on campus, be a part of our campus community and campus culture, while you take your classes online from another institution. So higher education should not be one size fits all. Every student has a different interest, a different passion, a different final goal that they're trying to achieve.
